Something's loose inside and it's really starting to bug me... When I turn it on it sometimes work but mostly it won't turn on. my hypothesis is that piece is jamming the motor. Can someone help me??

Dropped my theragun mini and broke the on/off button, so I had no choice but to crack it open. See photo attached.

How did you crack it open?
Put it in a vise (gently, use cardboard), then place a heavy duty razor blade along the seam and smack it carefully with a small hammer. You need to break the glue seal- very tight. Working it, you'll eventually get a crack going and you can use screwdrivers to pry it open. The battery pack is daunting, however. Custom circuit board soldered to the top, trying to find a solution...
Hey Karl, was your battery pack still working? Can I buy it if you're not going to fix it?
My theragun mini has suddenly stopped charging 😩 I have had it since 2019. I would like to fix it myself if f possible🤷🏽♀️ I can’t find a video to show how. Please help, I need this thing for my back.

@aidenc it's a pryjob! Take a quick look at this video to get an idea how it is put together.
While you work on your Theragun, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit. That will help the next person that has the same problem as you do. It's easy and fun to create these guides. https://ifixit.com/Guide/new The iFixit community will appreciate this.

@goofpod sure appears that way :-( Seems like another company we all should avoid. Let's see if there is anything similar somewhere. If not, it maybe time to invest in a broken one and to tear it down.
I would avoid the company except that their Theragun Mini is a very cool design. Fits nicely in the hand and packs a punch with massage relief. Teardown is a bear- getting those two halves to separate is no fun. But the important second challenge, as I mentioned elsewhere, is the circuit board soldered to the batteries and is very difficult to replicate. I found suitable batteries on eBay but haven’t attempted it yet. It’s on my list of fun things to do next…

If you suspect a free piece internal to your Theragun mini is causing it to malfunction, you can open the machine by following these steps: Check the guide for guidance, accumulate the essential tools, hit upon and take away any screws preserving the casing, cautiously open the device, take a look at and do away with any unfastened pieces, and reassemble the machine securely. If unsure, contact the producer or an expert for assistance.

What if you don’t have a vise to put it in? Mines wont hold a charge
It’s extremely difficult to open. Without a vice I don’t think you could hold it securely enough to break the seal with a razor blade using force. The second challenge is the battery pack itself. A small circuit board is soldered to the batteries in a way that is hard to replicate. These devices were clearly not made to be repaired, unfortunately.
