Power supply keeps blowing capacitors

My ps4 pro blew a capacitor in the power supply(450v-150uf) I replaced it with one exactly like it, it worked fine for about ten minutes then it blew the cap right next to the one I had replaced (450v-100uf) so I replaced that one,and same thing, lasted about ten minutes, obviously something is causing the caps to go out.i just want to know if the problem is in the power supply so I can just replace the entire power supply, if the cause is do to something outside of the power supply then there's no sense in replacing it with a new one,any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Did you plug it into the same outlet that it blew the first cap on? If so maybe test that outlet. If you don't have one already, outlet testers are pretty cheap off the shelf things you can get at homedepot or even walmart.

Power supplies :(. I'm in the process of repairing an og xbox Tuscany psu. Some wiseguy replaced the fuse with a wire. The console took a surge and suffered a catastrophic failure. One of the 200v caps exploded and burnt the board and surrounding components. Every time I identify and repair an upstream component it reveals yet another downstream component that has failed or become faulty.

If you are willing to go all the way with this you could just break out the multi meter and an ESR meter, start testing components one by one (after its been discharged of course). I mean either....too much is coming in/being let in and the cap pops, or something down stream isn't letting the cap release it's pent up energy and it pops, or you have a dead short on the main power rail and it pops.

Sounds interesting, good luck.
