Bright spots on my tv

What is the model number of the TV?

Try posting some close up images showing the bright spots on the screen. Here's how on ifixit Adding images to an existing question

It sounds like some of the screen LED backlight lens(es) may have fallen off the diffuser sheet thereby allowing the LED light to shine directly through instead of being spread over the area that it is supposed to light.

Here's a video that shows the LED backlight lenses

After viewing the start of the video to see the "spots" to check if that's the problem you're having, scroll forward through the video to about 10:55 minutes into the video to see the lens scattered about.

I realize that the video is for a different make of TV but the principle is the same regarding the LED lenses.

The disassembly procedure may differ however so knowing the model number would really help.
