Black outer coating on iPhone battery torn

When I attempted to remove iPhone 6s battery, the black outer coating has slightly torn as the adhesive tabs had snapped.

Can aluminium electrical heat sink tape be used as a replacement to repair the torn areas?

Unfortunately, repairing the torn black outer coating of an iPhone 6s battery with is not recommended. When removing the battery, you may have caused additional damage, and considering the affordability of iPhone 6s batteries, it's advisable to opt for a new replacement battery rather than attempting a risky repair.

I have carefully checked and the small area when this coating has ripped, the battery is not punctured in anyway, just the outer coating. It was the adhesive that ripped the coating and not any sharp tool.
