Yeah, so a trick I've found useful is sticking a rubber band between the screwdriver and the stripped screw. It gives you a bit more grip to turn it. And if that doesn't work, you could try using a slightly bigger screw if there's room in the hole.

Is it stripped at the screw's head where the screwdriver goes? Or is it stripped inside the device where the screw threads are?

@siuuffv depends on the diameter of the screhead. If it is large enough use a drill. Choose a bit that is about 2/4 the size of the dia,etr of the screw head and then gently drill deep enough until the screwhead will separate from the rest of the screw. Then, once you have the case apart, use a pair of pliers to remove the leftover stub. Hardest part is to keep the drill steady and as centered on the screwhead as possible so it does not run off.
