The Nintendo 2DS is a handheld gaming device developed as an entry level version of the Nintendo 3DS with nearly identical hardware, but without the 3D upper screen function.

My 2ds Charges but will not power on

I have a 2ds that hasn’t been used for a few years. I tried charging the device and the orange LED comes on. But then when I try powering the device on nothing happens. I know some people have their device turn on for a second and then pop. My device straight up won’t turn on. I’ve replaced the battery and tried unplugging and re-plugging the connections inside of the device as well. And help before I have to send it to Nintendo would be much appreciated

@julienmartell you will need to check your motherboard and trace the power rails. It is possible that this is a power fuse issues. Disassemble your 2DS and post some good pictures of the motherboard with your Question. That will allow us to see what you see,

@julienmartell top right hand corner on you second image, there is a component marked F1 That is a fuse. Check that for continuity with a multimeter. F2 will be around the WiFi card. Check for any thing odd looking in that area.
