New battery doesn’t charge up to 100%

I bought new battery from the iFixit store but even leaving it charging for a whole night it never reaches 100%.

I followed the instructions to mount it, holding the robot's buttons before inserting the new battery.

To be on the sure I did an hard reset of the robot but the battery does not fully charge.

@matteo80904 try what iFixit recommends: For optimal performance, calibrate your newly installed battery: Charge it to 100% and keep charging it for at least 2 more hours. Then use your device until it shuts off due to low battery. Finally, charge it uninterrupted to 100%.

Now if you continue to have issues with the battery, I would suggest you contact iFixit. Since you bought the battery on iFixit, contact the service department: eustore@ifixit.com or support@ifixit.com and let's see if they can help you further :-)

I’ve tried using the robot until it shut off but when it’s low battery it goes automatically to charging base. Any suggestions on how to fully discharge?

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

@matteo80904 have you tried to disconnect the base so the robot can’t find it or it doesn’t charge

@oldturkey03 thanks, it took 3 hours(new battery brought big improvement) but the robot got fully discharged and now the battery has reached 100%.
