Hello,
I have the the Samsung ue75mu6100 led tv, suddenly overnight, the image is very poor.
Ive fixed a fair few tvs over the past 20 years, im an electronics engineer.
Before I start looking at the TCON board etc, does anybody think this looks like a backlight issue? Maybe PSU fault not delivering the correct voltage?
Anybody seen something similar?

Not sure if this will work with your model but worth a try anyway.
Disconnect the power to the TV and then remove the back cover from the TV and disconnect the power board → mainboard cable at the power board end only.
Reconnect the power to the TV and check if the screen backlights turn on and stay on and if there's still the uneven lighting. There will be no images or audio as the mainboard has been disconnected.
If there is then there's a fair chance it's the backlights and not the power board.
Be safety aware, when the TV back cover is removed and the power is connected to the TV, as there's exposed lethal AC voltage on the power board
You can always verify this by getting a TV backlight tester (supplier examples only) and then use it to test the backlights in isolation i.e. disconnect the power to the TV, disconnect the power board - LED power cable and connect the tester between the LED +ve and LED -ve supply feed on the cable plug, for each strip (or pair of strips). The tester provides the power for the backlights and not the TV
If some of the backlights are faulty, then I suggest that you replace the lot as since some have failed the others can't be far behind.

@liamdean39899 it's not a T-con issue. The purple is common with a backlight issue as are the darker spots that are visible. Check your backlights and after that you do want to take a close look at the LCD panel driver boards.
