New battery wear level 19% in a day!

I brougt a new battery for my laptop, it wear level in hwinfo was 0% the first day and only after 2 charges it is now 19.2% in just two days.

Should I return it and get a new one?

Did you calibrate the new battery after you installed it?

Fully charge the battery and then run the laptop until the battery level drops to 10% and then recharge it again to 90%. Do this twice and then check if it holds its charge better.

If still no good it may be a faulty battery.

The battery need calibration? How is that done? I tried charging the battery and draining twice. The Laptop last for 3-4 hours.

Was it an OEM battery or just a compatible one?

I would get a new one given the rate of discharge that occurred.

Check if it's a OEM battery.

If it is not then that will be why it keeps going flat, unless it's faulty.
