MacBook is not charging, or booting up
Hi All,
I have got many dead MacBooks 12” retina 2017, and obviously, they all have same issues with a burned USB-C port. Anyone else facing this kind of issue?!?

A common problem across ALL USB-C devices! We also see it on Lightning ports in iPhones and iPads.
The issue is people often use a dirty cable which the grime causes the the power pins to degrade. Sadly, the USB-C interface is a bit fussy as the fiberglass tab is on the socket side unlike Lightning which allows you to just replace the cable Vs the system connector.

Do you know if the devices were charging with an official Apple Charger, or were they using a different brand?
