The control button/IR sensor board may have been damaged by the fall.
Disconnect the power to the TV and then remove the back cover and locate the control button/IR sensor board (supplier example only to show its possible cost) and check if the cable is loose or if the board is damaged at all. This is what it looks like.
Here's a video that may help.
The Power button is at one end of the board and the IR sensor (for remote control) is at the other so it will be behind the controls on your TV.
If the board is damaged search online for BN96-13022C (BN41-01382A) P-Touch Function & IR Sensor board, to find suppliers that suit you best.
Double check that I've found the correct board by finding the board number printed on the board in your TV to see if it is the same or different. Then search online using the number to find suppliers that suit you best. If you find a seller, confirm that it is compatible with your TV. Note: I found the supplier above (who has the part) by using your TV model number and not the board part number, that's why it may be prudent to double check.
