I cracked screen. Not charging or green light on screen.

I dropped my Mac book Pro A1502 late 2013 and the screen cracked. At first there was power but blurry/lines on screen. Then the battery went dead and now will not charge. There is no green light on power cord. Bought a new power cord but still nothing. I’ve opened it up and when I attach the power cable the fan turns on for a few seconds then stops. Do I simply need to replace screen or is there another problem with power?

Not that simple! Yes you do need a new display, but you need to troubleshoot the logic board as well as you clearly have a deeper issue.

Consider the costs and your skills. If you don’t have the knowledge to read a schematic and using the common test tools as well as access to the components and tools to replace them it might be better to seek out someone who does.
