Why my phone is not charging

@rence662 you are really not giving us lots of information here :-)

First you want to check your power supply. Make sure it has the proper voltages. Check to make sure connectors are not bend etc. After that, check the phones charging port. Clean it of any debris etc, use a few puffs of air to clean it out. Check for any corrosion, debris etc. that prevents it from working. If none of this works, get an ammeter and see if your phone draws any amperage from the charger. After that, you need to check and see if your circuit board gets power. For that of course, you need to open it up.

Since iFixit does not yet have a guide for this, use something like this video to work on it. Once you have opened it up, you will see that your phone has a sub board to where the usb charger is connected. This board is a common failure point. Consider replacing it since schematics are not available for it to be fixed. Also, check the flex cable from the sub board to the main board. Check for tears and corrosion. Replace that if needed. Next replace the battery, no matter what. After all that, reassemble your phone and see if it now charges. If it still does not, you most likely have a main board issue which will require the schematic and component layout diagram to fix that.
