Screw stripped - Replacing the CF Reader

Block Image

One of the side screws is stripped. Is there anything I can do to get it out?

I am thinking of grabbing some tacky glue or something to make it easy to unscrew ( fill the void that was created ). I am open to suggestions and help.

@ilabbe the most common reasons why those strip is because they are to tight. You will need more torque to get it out. I have never had any luck with the "home remedies. I use a rotary tool (Dremel) and a drill just slightly larger than the threaded part of the screw. The center punch the screw head and start drilling the old screw out. Sometimes it's enough to just drill the screw head off and then later (after you disassembled the case) to use a pair of pliers to remove the rest of the screw. All it takes is a bit of patience and not to drill to deep etc. Haste makes waste :-)
