Is it possible to replace the Touch Bar

Hey there.

We just dropped this new MacBook Pro and dented the upper case. While the computer still works perfectly, the Touch Bar is gone. I don't see any guides on how to replace or repair it. Do you know if that's even possible?

The touch screen on the Touch Bar works, I can still adjust volume, screen brightness, etc. The LCD part is gone.

While it’s technically possible if one could find the part, sadly it’s not available at this point in time.

Instead you’ll need to replace the uppercase assembly. You’ll need to leverage Apples self repair parts store Apples self site

@danj - I understand. There are no part pairing involved?

@jadonlyon - Good question! I honestly don’t know in this model the older models it wasn’t.
