Why does my screen have a bluish/green tint?

I have a feeling the new display glass I ordered had protective coating on the both sides and I initially I did not realize it. Now the display is a bluish/greenish tint. It's almost tolerable but I know it's not natural.

My first assumption was that it was merely a sort-of anti-glare coating and I am sincerely hoping that is the case. Can anyone help me?

LCD panel might have been shipped with protective plastic covering the front. Try peeling off the plastic. Also, go into System Prefs and click on display and adjust the color. Finally, check for loose video cables.

Thanks for responding! I was kind of having a heart attack when I saw the blue tint. But I eventually realized that it was in fact protective film. Lucky for me the adhesive hadn't fully cured yet so getting the glass back off was pretty easy and I then proceeded to remove the remaining protective film.

WORD TO THE WISE: If you ordered new glass for this model, Remove the protective film on both sides of the glass. The film on the inside portion of the glass appears difficult to remove at first (almost like it's not suppose to be removed), but it's SUPPOSE to come off and it is not anti-glare film like I initially thought. I hope my ignorance helps someone.
