Lg Oled65c2pua will not turn on
Could not stand seeing such a newer tv thrown away, so decided to take a stab at it. No picture, no sound ,no indication of standby and no relay click when pressing power button. Voltages on cable that goes from PS to main seem correct. 20v, 12v, and 3.35 on pin for pwr-on. No 12v on cable from PS to top of tcon board. No 22v on cable from PS to side of tcon board.
Ordered repair kit that included all three boards. Installed all three and no change to indications except I now get optical light. Still no standby light and no relay click. I did get 3.39v on DRV-ON on cable PS-main, which I did not have before. I also got 12v on cable PS-tcon (top), which I did not have before. I also get .74v on (not 22v) on cable PS-tcon (side), which I did not have before.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Installed old main back and lost 12v to Tcon, optical light, and 22v cable to Tcon went to 0v. Old main definitely looks bad. Put new main back and got 12v to Tcon, optical light back. Also .74v on 22v line to Tcon. .74v remains with cables disconnected Tcon- main.
Put old Tcon back in with no change. Put new one back in. Then put old PS back in and when I plugged it in I heard a relay click followed by screen coming up. Looks like original main was bad and then the kit PS was bad. Now we have picture and sound but tv comes up when plugging in (without pressing power on) and you can’t turn off with switch or remote. Nothing works with remote except it drives my security camera dvr nuts :).

Well a tech said that it sounded like it was in factory mode. He said I had to get an older lg remote without voice to get into the menu. As I was going through spare remotes, the tv went off. Took apart and voltages missing. Sent kit back for replacement.

Got replacement kit and installed. Left power switch/ infrared cable unplugged from main board. When plugged in picture came up and instructed that select switch on remote be pressed. Again , tv came up without power switch/infrared connected.
Unplugged tv and plugged cable back into main. When power plugged in picture came up with same instruction to press select on remote. I did with no effect except it did affect my security system that is in the same room. Tried unlinking and relinking remote with no help. Will get another lg remote tomorrow.

Checked my remote on daughter’s tv and worked fine. Tried her remote on my tv with no response. As much as I hate to think it, I think it is another bad main board. Display and sound seems fine, just no control with remote or switch. That and the tv coming up when just plugging in. When I first installed this second kit, I left the button/infrared disconnected in case a problem with that assembly was causing main board malfunction. There was no difference.
