My phone is completely dead and wont charge at all.

My phone doesnt even show the charging screen when i plug it in. Please help! I cant access it at all, so i cant even reboot it!

@eilidhtrodden well this sure sounds like a dead charging port. For that you want to go ahead and replace it. If you reside in the USA you can get the part from here Samsung Galaxy S22+ (USA) USB-C Charge Port - Genuine If you do not, do a simple online search for a replacement board in your area.

Do not forget to also check the flex cable coming from the charging board to the mother board. Make sure that there are no tears on it and that it is not corroded etc. While you have it already disassembled, might as well replace the battery as well. Now, in the extremely rare case that a board replacement will not work, you are going to have to do some board level checking/repair
