I'd start by disassembling both halves and seeing what's still intact. Obviously anything running through the hinge has to be replaced (two ribbon cables and a wire as far as I can tell). I can't tell what they connect to, but they should be easy enough to find once you figure that out. If you need help ID'ing anything, post a pic or two, we'll be here
