Battery Flex Cable Error

When repairing screen , I think I accidentally removed the battery flex cable fully and now cannot get cable to stick fully back where it belongs … laptop will not power on … what adhesive would I need for that? Thanks

I tried to tape it down but doesn’t work … I just presume this is what is wrong with the mac… as I felt it was only thing that went wrong during the screen replacement process … I also didn’t screw out the screw in that battery strip area… but that wouldn’t affect the computer would it ?

Where the flex cable connects on the right side , I believe there may be a problem. Is there any other reason why laptop would not turn on?

Ah! I see! This is an easy fix. So this cable is a bit weirdo. It goes in the other way. So rather than it being a straight shot between the two connectors, the one on the battery board side curls around, and the connector goes into the back side (the edge near the speaker, rather than the edge near the other batter connector).

You can tell in this picture how it's supposed to connect. Adhesive not necessary. Cable should just lock into place like the other end.

Hi I did this and laptop still not turning on …. When I was first connecting I smelled something off? Perhaps a fuse blew?
