we should upgrade apps or not

It is always best to update apps, as usually updates fix any bugs/problems etc that were in the app before or they add improvements to the app etc.

Sometimes updates do introduce new problems, so before downloading them using the Play Store app, go online to the Play Store and find the app(s) that will be updated and check what any reviews listed for the app say about any problems etc. If they do mention problems, then don't update them until they have been fixed.
