Mid 2010 iMac 27" Chime Black Screen
Hi,
I have mid 2010 iMAC 27 inch purchased 2011. It was working fine until a couple of months ago. Now, the issue is, the chime boot up sound loops and no screen display. I have removed the screen and tried to verify the Hard drive.
I bought a SATA cable from best buy and tried connecting the hard drive to mac book laptop using SATA cable.

The hard drive didnt show up in the Macbook Pro. I thought hard drive is the problem. so I bought another hard drive but even that didn't seem to be recognized with the SATA cable.
Not sure how to connect the internal hard drives to the macbook pro.
3 Questions.
1) What component could have failed to load the iMAC Screen if it is not hard drive issue?
2) Should I try replacing logic board or graphics card or cpu?
3) What is the best way to trouble shoot connecting internal hard drive to macbook pro?

@ifixitshiv - Sorry, wrong board. The LEDs on this one are at the bottom left corner covers by a piece of tape near the RAM slot.
