Apple's October 2020 refresh of its iPad Air tablet, sporting an A14 Bionic processor, a 10.9" screen, a new design, and in-button TouchID.

iPad Air 4 Battery Not Showing Battery Percentage

I have changed the Touch ID/Power Button on my iPad Air 4. Once I turned on the iPad, it booted normally to the lock screen. When I went to settings->battery, it shows me 1%, and after and during charging, it shows 0% remaining.

Thanks in advance!

This sounds like there may have been some funny business with battery connector. It’s common during iPad repairs due to the way the connector works. The pin that carriers the battery data (like how charged the battery is) is often the one that is damaged, or bent out of shape. You may need to take the board out to give it a good look.

Do I have to pull out the logic board to fix this, or is are there alternative options? Thanks!
