Hello the screen of my father’s ThinkPad broke. I removed it and now Ím asking myself if the screen of the non touch T460S is the same as the one on the T460. Some sellers seem to think that but I read about a 50 nits brightness deferents between both laptops

Some are the same but it also depends on whether they're an HD or FHD display as well.

Click on Select Commodity > LCD panels, to find the part numbers for all the panels that can be used by the models. This may help you to check if the panel used in the T460s is also one of the ones used in the T460. One way to find out what panel is in use is to disassemble the laptop and look for the part number on the back of the LCD panel.
