Replaced Lightning Port on iPhone 8 Plus - Won’t boot past Apple Logo

I replaced the Lightning Port on my iPhone 8 Plus and replaced the battery while I was at it. After completing the repair without any issues, the phone powers up to a black screen with Apple logo and after 30 seconds or so, shuts down and repeats the cycle. The only way to stop the cycle is to disconnect battery.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
