Where is the balance sensor?

My machine, an elite quiet pack 4 model t's a 110 45972400, is getting an F06 error intermittently. I can usually run the drain and rinse cycles, but it won't go through a complete wash cycle. I tried opening it and checking the MCU and CCU connections. I read there is a balance sensor. Is there one? Where is it?

Hi @mron

There is no balance sensor in the washer. At least there's none shown in the parts list for the washer.

Intermittent problems can be hard to find so perhaps try checking the connections between the MCU and the drive motor to see if they're all OK i.e. not loose, corroded etc.

Here's the tech sheet for the washer that may also help. On p.8 it describes how to check the windings for the motor, just in case one winding is not within spec or is on the limit of what may be acceptable to the MCU.
