Antenna board fpc connector
Hi I was repairing a phone for a friend and while I was trying to put the antenna on after replacing charging port it snapped off. Obviously it has there Data on etc so they don't want to replace phone. Is this repairable at all.
please see the red box where it's broken

@flannelist I took it to a repair shop to be done. Just wondering if it will likely damage phone or data on phone or will this be unlikely to happen.

@ai33 Of course it depends on the repair shop, but in general, no, that repair should not damage anything else in the phone and there's no reason for you to lose data. If either of those things happen the repair shop has an obligation to make things right.

Ok so I don't need to worry about it then and everything should be safe and I should not lose data or any other damage to phone.

@ai33 For a private repair company, that should be true. If you took it to Apple, all they would do would be to substitute a refurbished phone for yours and yes, you would lose all your data.

Yep I took it to a local independent shop with good reviews
