How do I replace a single key?

A key popped out of my computer. there's a repair guide that shows how to replace the entire keyboard, but I just need to replace the individual key. I've looked everywhere and can't find a guide for how to do that on this specific laptop. can anyone help?

laptopkeys.com appears to be the place to look for individual keys. I have not used them so I can't speak to the quality of the key but they do host repair guides broken down by model which shows you how to do the install.

Oh I've actually done this before on the same cromebook, its pretty easy. You just have to line up the inner mechanism with the clips under the key and then press it back into place.

My keys have little fins on both sides (I think it's supposed to make it harder for them to pop out). Those fins prevent me from pressing the key back into place. Here's a link to a pic of the key that fell out so you can see the fins: https://imgur.io/a/LIDHc9p

you gotta angle it so the fins go under. a bit of pressure shouldn't hurt.
