By different do you mean that the tensioner looks like it is missing the pulley wheel as shown here? If so, that was a weird design choice by Whirlpool/Kenmore with the series 80 dryers attempting to save a buck. They have since discontinued that tensioner design and went back to the roller style tensioner. Using the Kenmore Sears Parts site, enter in your dryers model number and use the result to find the part number for the current tensioner. You can search Amazon easily with that part number to find the new tensioner and get it quick. Hope this helps you.
