Apple Thunderbolt Display dim

Thunderbolt display dim problem

Today my thunderbolt display suddenly went very dim. I've tried turning it off and then back on again but it doesn't work. I tried to adjust the brigtness on the Macbook pro, when I moved the slider, sometimes the screen brightened and then went dark again.

Still unsure is this about the connection cable or the backlight.

Have any idea about this anyone?

Sorry this looks like a much deeper problem that the Backlight! The strobing and lack of any image tells me the displays LCD panels T-CON or the logic boards display driver logic has a problem.

Time to find someone locally with display repair skills to hopefully isolate out which has failed. Even still you might find a used TB display for sale to replace yours or a cheaper way to get yours working depending on its state of working.
