Unfortunately, this lock is unremovable. It's Apple's "anti-theft" mechanism, but it's really just contributing to the massive ewaste problem we have nowadays. For anyone who works on Apple devices, this is the bane of their existence. I'll spare you the massive rant about how bad it is.
