Why is my laptop not charging

When I plug in my the windows battery sign indicates that the laptop is plugged. The laptop itself doesn't charge, the charging brick led lights blue which means it is charging but I do have to say that the brick itself the tip is "slightly" damaged. So what should I do to fix the problem without just buying a new brick.

Hi @mokachockachino

Connect a voltmeter between the inner and the outer connections on the barrel connector plug on the output cable of the charger and check if it shows 19.5V DC.

If it does flex the cable where it leaves the charger case and also where it enters the cable plug and make sure that it remains steady.

If it doesn't it could be a damaged plug connection or fractured cable.
