Hello, I have the same problem with model EP24731US and it seems to be a design flaw.
Small things that help a bit include:
- using as little detergent as possible
- diluting detergent in hot water before adding to laundry
- using the max water amount per wash (on my machine I can select 3L per wash instead of the default 2L).
