Is it possible to upgrade the logic board from the 2015 to the 2020?

I’ve got the late 2015 27”. I did the external SSD upgrade and am loving it with 32gb of ram. I know I can upgrade to the i7 for this year. Curious though if it’s possible to upgrade the logic board to get access to Sonoma. It obviously knows I’m running a late 2015 so won’t let me upgrade from Monterey. Thanks
