Larger version of the Nintendo DSi, released March 2010 in North America. Most repairs are accomplished with only a screwdriver and prying tools.

My bottom screen keeps scrolling to the side.

Anytime I try to use my dsi, it's like I'm pressing down on the right d-pad button. I've bought a new rubber pad, as well as a new d-pad board. I installed both of them, it worked for about a week, and now the problem popped up again. What could the problem be? Could it be something in the motherboard? Thank you in advance!!! :D (I would also like to add that there's no problem with the screen, I've done multiple tests, and it works perfectly fine)

It could be something with the motherboard, or just an unlucky replacement d-pad board. You can double check the connectors to make sure they're not loose or broken.

Thanks for a quick response! I disconnected the orange strip (not sure what it's called exactly) from both the pad, as well as the motherboard. It worked for a minute, but now the same problem returned. Would you happen to have any other possible solutions?

@travhuber10 try cleaning the connections with isopropyl alcohol
