Why is my tire monitoring system not working after getting new tires?

Warning light, tire air pressure system

You probably need to have a shop reset the system with a scanner

Drive it for about 20-30 minutes and it may adjust to the new tires.

@nerual8w most common issue actually is that they did not transfer your TPMS. Depending on your vehicle the TPMS is commonly in the valve stem. Go back to where you got the tires from and have them double check if they installed your TPMS and have them reset your system as well. After all, I am sure it wasn't cheap.
