Screen flickering when plugged in

I have this iPod 7th gen 120 GB and when I plug it in the screen is stuck on the Apple logo and the screen flickers almost like a boot loop help is appreciated

@alejandrochavez if you've got the wall adapter, try plugging the iPod there first. Classic iPods need a backup charge to connect to a computer USB (this might point to the iPod's battery being dead).
