Just replaced old battery with new ifixit battery I bought through your website.When I turned on laptop after installing “new” battery, it showed charge at 56%. I used computer until total discharge then plugged charger in. After 2 days of being plugged in, it only charges to 7%

Hi @domingo28098 did you follow the battery calibration instructions?
For optimal performance, calibrate your newly installed battery: Charge it to 100% and keep charging it for at least 2 more hours. Then use your device until it shuts off due to low battery. Finally, charge it uninterrupted to 100%.
I would try this calibration method and if it does not work, the battery has a 1-Year warranty
This product is guaranteed to function for one year following the date of original purchase. The guarantee period begins on the date the original order is placed, not the date the product was installed or used.
