Green line down the center of screen

I replaced the battery, and now I have a green line down the center of the screen. Right down the middle. I'm hoping it's just the connector not seated correctly. Has anyone else seen this before?

Did you use the isopropyl alcohol to clean the adhesive off the display and battery?

I didn't need to on the screen side. It all came off surprisingly easily. I did use it on the battery side and needed to put some under the battery as the pull tabs broke off.

@mdrumhel but you did use some? Some users have reported this happening with Rubbing Alcohol.

I did use some. That's interesting. Has anyone reported fixing it without needing to completely replace the screen?

Some people have reported this this happens when rubbing alcohol gets into some of the connections. Try waiting around an hour and see if the issue resolved.

I’ll try to find the link to the specific question where this was found, but won’t be able to at the moment due to being on mobile.
