looking on AliExpress and see these reprogramming devices

Basically i am looking into getting a reprogramming device for screens and batterys and whatever. Some claim, and from good brands as well, that they are able to clone the face id if so does that mean that you are able to restore face id by getting replacement parts then cloning the details from the old one. It doesn't sound like apple would make it this easy.

No, they cannot clone faceID on a new module. Those are mainly if you microsolder some of the parts from the earpiece speaker flex to a new one.

These programmers are mainly just great for Tag on flex to reset battery health after spotwelding on newer models, or to do so on older models without a tag on.

They can also restore true tone.

I highly recommend the JC V1 SE.
