Maytag washer stuck on wash/agitate cycle

Good day! - Maytag washer model A183

The machine fills up, the agitate cycle begins, and the timer keeps advancing past the spin cycle. The timer dial keeps rotating past all cycles, I open the lid the machine seems stuck on the agitate, never moves on the next cycle, and won't turn itself off either.

If I am watching the machine and listening to the click of the timer, as the dial moves to rinse. If I open and close the lid, the rinse cycle begins immediately. It will empty, fill, and agitate. It will stay on the agitate cycle unless I open and close the lid as the dial moves to spin. At that point, it will spin and stop on its own.

I replaced the timer, cleaned the pressure sensor tube, and bypassed the lid switch.

While running a test cycle with a lid switch bypass, the timmer dial reached the rinse cycle and didn't change. I unplugged and plugged the machine and it changed immediately moving into the next cycle. It filled, agitated again but for the final spin, I had to unplug and plug it once again.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you!
