Touch id is not working after screen replacement

I installed new screen for my ipad air 2 and connect everything but i received a message that touch ID can not be activated as per attached photo... Please advice...

Did you swap the home button over from the old screen? If so you could of damaged the button assembly or the ribbon.

The original home button must be transferred to the new display. If the ribbon cable was damaged, or you use a 3rd party replacement home button, Touch ID will not be able to be activated. The chip on the button is married to the Touch ID chip on the logic board.
