2017 F-150 Transmission Fluid Check?

All the threads I have read so far say the transmission is not easily serviceable and has no dip stick...

Is there any DIY to check the fluid level and or change the fluid?

@rider883r that is correct. It uses a screw-in dipstick that you need to access from underneath the vehicle. Transmission Check

Thank you @oldturkey03, the pictures in your attachment look helpful. Will try to access it next time I am down there changing the engine oil.

This is absolutely incorrect. I service my fluid this past spring/summer. I did a complete flush on mine. The dipstick on the 6R80 transmission is on the transmission on the passenger side. It looks like a bolt. The dipstick is on the underside, inside the bolt. When cold, the fluid should be at the bottom of the grid. When checking hot, get fluid temp. Between 179°-195°. If you can’t get it closer to the higher temp end, leave the fluid a little lower than the top side of the grid because the fluid expands.

Yes there is a dipt stick on the passenger side of the transmission but the dipstick doenst come up to the engine bay like old days you have to get under and unscrew the 17 or 19 mm plug to get to it. Under there is small plastic dipstick that tells you the level. But be aware that the transmission needs to be heat up to operating temps to have an accurate reading.
