Bissell IconPet Sku:22883 - Foot Assembly Hose

Does anyone have experience repairing the hose on the lower assembly of this vacuum? According to the reviews on Bissell website this is a very common issue with this vacuum. Ours has broken and I'm hopeful we can repair it rather than order a new foot assembly for $120.
