Hi @yahnke123,

What is the make and model number of the motherboard or if no board number what make and model computer did it come out of?

Thank you guys, really do appreciate the help, so the PN NB694GD-Z-GP Monolithic Power is what I should order then just do a chip off.

@yahnke123 ok so it looks like your board is a 5B20Y89742 Wistron OEM LC40CM. That make this IC reference designator PU5451 which is a NB694GD-Z-GP Monolithic Power System Switching Voltage Regulators. Something I learned while trying to find a supplier, was that usually parts with a horizontal line above the marking code, are monolithic power. Anyhow, I have found a few places with a quick online search, but do not know the suppliers and thus could not vouch for their reliability etc.

This maybe a situation where you need to consider either finding a donor board, or taking a leap of faith and order from a Vendor that appeals to you. Sorry, that is the best I can do. Hopefully @jayeff or somebody else can find out more about this.

Hi @oldturkey03,

I agree that the horizontal line above the marking code indicates that it is a monolithic power IC.

Finding the AWV manufacturer's website is difficult to say the least as there's nothing online regarding that "prefix" as a manufacturer's code for their products.

As for the rest, you've done better than me at finding a free? download for the schematics but I have no doubts that you are correct as to the part number.

Cheers
