Orange light then flashes blue.

I’ve tried plugging in the controller to connect it to my ps4. I’m not sure why it even disconnected in the first place. I haven’t paired it with anything else but my console. It flashes orange for a brief second and then flashes blue. I’ve tried pressing the reset button and then holding the ps and share button but it flickers blue & doesn’t connect. I deleted the controller from my Bluetooth options to see if it would even pop up while it was in pairing mode & nothing. I’ve tried everything. The controller is only 4 months old. It’s not my cord because it’s charging my other controller just fine.
