As it can be seen in the picture, the screen has detached from the frame it comes with.

You have to gently lift the frame from a tweezer like you normally open an iPhone screen and it will come apart for you.

It should be easier for you because there is no resistance of the screen itself.

Agree here. A plastic spudger will probably be helpful as well since metal tools are more likely to damage the device itself.

I would also take a look at the cable that comes from the Receiver speaker/sensor assembly since it looks like it’s still in the phone and still intact, but that cable can be very fragile. It is narrow in some places and prone to tear.
