Why is my ps4 pro fan very loud?

Hi.So I owned a ps4 pro for about 5 years.I have never changed anything or send it in for repair.I deep cleaned my console and the heatsink but still the same.I notice that even if it is in the menu the psu gets a little hot and the hard drive area also seems hotter.Let me know what I should do please.

You deep cleaned it, did you replace the thermal paste? If you did, what did you use? If not, I would recommend doing so. Kryonaut Thermal Grizzly, Noctua NT-H1, or Arctic MX-4 would all be a good option to use. Also check the thermal pads on the ram and mosfets/etc. If they are try, cracked, flaking, or covered in dust or debris, replace them. I think they need 1.5mm thickness but I'm not 100% sure off the top of my head.

No I didn't take the motherboard out.But I don't think that's the problem because the psu and the hdd area gets hot.Not the center

@evimatz You said you cleaned out the fan. Did you clean out the PSU? Dust can build up in those and they need to breathe.

Also, I would still recommend changing the thermal paste and checking the pads anyway. The shelf life on stock thermal paste is 3-6 years before depreciation sets in, depending on device usage, so if it has never been changed it is likely due or overdue.
