iPhone does not charge past a specific battery level

I use fast charging (of course genuine from Apple, 18W), but the strange thing I noticed is that it sometimes can't charge through a certain battery level (eg 10% after 30 minutes it's still 10%), it can also sometimes charge up to a certain battery level, but will be stopped at a different battery level, namely about 70% and 90%

The only fix is that I have to restart the device for it to charge up

Also added that I replaced the battery for it, also genuine from Apple

Hi, you need to change the charging system and retest again to see if the phone charges beyond the said percentages.

Thanks for the reply, I also changed to another fast charger and the result is still the same

About restart, or perhaps reset, I tried it too and it's still the same

I still don't understand what you mean by "change the charging system", it could be replacing lightning port or replacing charger

@kiyoshi1407 if the new battery is under Apple warranty, I'd recommend you take the phone back in for them to troubleshoot. It sounds like a bad battery they put in.

Maybe it is, the battery is still under warranty so I will take it to an Apple center to change to another battery. I hope the lightning port isn't broken because it is expensive and very difficult to repair

@kiyoshi1407 It's not too awful to do, the part itself is also only around $20, the whole charging assembly is replaced.
