Repair guides and support for read-only memory cartridges used in Game Boy, Game Boy Advance, and other handheld nintendo consoles.

Pokémon Red goes white

Pokémon Red goes through the Nintendo splash screen and then turns white. The game doesn't start.

I cleaned the cartridge, performed a reflow, replaced the battery, checked for corroded parts, but found nothing. I traced the entire circuit and identified all components.

I don't know what to do next. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks everyone.

Reflow Gameboy cartridge, don't always work the first time, I have already need reflow five time one to make it work, for my experience blank screen on a game = ROM chip needs a reflow (it's the mbc chip).
